Located downtown Mackinac Island across from the Shepler Ferry dock and next to the famous Village Inn Restaurant, the Balsam Shop is a full service souvenir and gift shop. Open 8:00 a.m. all season, our friendly staff is always available with maps, information on Island activities and attractions, discount restaurant coupons and helpful advice on how to best enjoy your stay on the Island

The Balsam Shop, famous for fragrant balsam pillows incense and oil, offers many custom souvenirs including ornaments, glassware and apparel. Locally produced maple syrup, tempting cherry products and our favorite Mackinac Island road apples make delicious treats to bring home to family and friends.
